1. Trackman
(Track Maintenance):
As a Trackman, your primary role would be the maintenance and inspection of railway tracks to ensure safe and smooth operations.
This includes:

Inspecting and repairing railway tracks, bridges, tunnels, and viaducts.

Maintaining and repairing railway lines, and associated services, and ensuring the smooth running of train services.

Building, inspecting, and repairing train lines, clearing potential obstructions, and enforcing stringent safety policies.

Laying, repairing, and maintaining tracks for standard or narrow-gauge railroad equipment used in regular railroad service or in plant yards, quarries, sand and gravel pits, and mines.

2. Vegetation Labour:
Vegetation Labourers are pivotal in managing vegetation alongside railway tracks to ensure safety and smooth operations.
Their responsibilities include:

Undertaking tree and vegetation projects to maintain clear and safe railway surroundings.

Specialised tasks such as felling, pruning, and managing hazardous trees.

Occasionally overseeing the execution of vegetation management contracts within rail projects.
